Barack: The Pastor of Calm in Tumultuous Time

Inner Projection
These are times not for the tender hearted.
But the tough hearted must seek them to know of the soft and wanting, to enable healing,
To bring calm to the tender-hearts in harm's way,
To know of the Passion, its strength, and to seek the upkeep of the tried and true.
These are Lincoln-Roosevelt times when a man for all seasons will find himself seasoned by trials he knows not until having passed through them in earnest.
These are the times that try men's souls.
These are the times that make the weak bold.
These are the times that will bend you back and then severely forth, back and forth until your knees bend opposite to the fold.
And men will need more than the arm-of-the-flesh to have and to hold.
They must seek the Bridegroom, the only one who can tenderly stoke and soothe the soul.
Soothe it to points beyond man's understanding, this celestial strength coming down to lift and bear up the weak and human, enabling stretches of self that man can never accomplished alone.
Who will lead us?
Who will seed us?
Who will cradle our souls?
Who will fill our pockets in replacing the coal?
Who will teach the liar to shoot straight his roll?
Who will bring the unfounded, unjust to bear his soul?
Who will bend to but not be swayed by the liar, the layer, the thief?
Who will see with ever-eternal eyes of the bountiful, celestial banshee with healing, wanting cry?
Who will?
Who will?
Who will?
Barack.

Are you saying that Barack in going to be the one to lead us to the Bridegroom (Jesus) and are you seriously calling him a pastor?Just wanting to make sure I am reading this correctly :-)Blessings to you in 2009! TeresaHi Teresa,
It's rather metaphorical. My wife had said that he reminds her of a pastor when he speaks, so I just ran with that idea. I'm not calling him a pastor, per say, but rather just the "Pastor of Calm." And when I talk about the Bridegroom, I mention that "men" must seek him out. The first part is about mankind in general, until you get to the question section which asks, "who will lead us." And that would be Mr. O.
Hope that clears it up. Thanks for stopping by for a read.Hi Jeff, yes, it helps. Thanks, I am a bit slow at times :-) Have a fabulous weekend.
