Internet Get Rich Schemes Are 99% Scams

First of all, in general most people know that if it seems easy avoid it like the plague. And this is certainly the case with Internet get-rich schemes. Also consider that in the legitimate business world if you want a profitable, long lasting business it takes a lot of preparation, planning, marketing, and continued tweaking to not only achieve success but maintain it. If you don't have a long-term plan and vision, in all likelihood even if you do make some good money temporarily it will not last. Considering that most companies fail within five years because of numerous causes, what would make anyone think that buying an easy, no-brainer "get rich" scheme would create greater opportunity for success?
So let's take a look at these turnkey business opportunities that promise the world but offer the poor house in reality and specifically why they don't and won't work.
1. Many online "gold mines" inform potential buyers that all they have to do is upload, install, sit back and make their millions. Hardly. All web sites need traffic, so you have to go out and get it yourself regardless of what you're told or not told. If it were that easy, why don't these get rich schemers just set up 100 of these sites themselves, upload, install, and make their millions? Because they know that for all the sites they set up they will have to get traffic flow to each and every one.
2. Another problem is that if these sites are selling all over the Internet, how unique of an opportunity is your one replicated-a-million-times site going to be? If there are so many sites selling the same thing in the same way with the same look with . . . well, everything the same, what would make your site so unique and enticing? Most of these sites don't allow customization, so your chance of standing out in the crowd is minimal at best. And to a great degree it is uniqueness that sells not sameness.
3. Running a business online or off-line is complex and never easy, as billionaire Bill Bartman tells us. Turnkey online businesses don't teach you business building skills, online skills, or anything about outsourcing--a key to any business's success. To be successful online, just like off-line, you need to create a unique opportunity via separation of difference. In branding, it's called differentiation. How many companies achieve great success by mere duplication? Even those that do may create an oligopoly like Pepsi and Coke but in doing so they limit others from entering the market. There is much to learn to be successful online, such as how to write successful sales copy, split testing, marketing, product and service creation and maintenance, customer service, on and on. Building any business is a complex and far reaching challenge.
4. So why do these scams exist? Well, even if the owners of these sites don't teach you how to build a long-term online business or how to get traffic to do so, they still profit. This is because even if each person who buys one of these sites gets a little traffic, it generally goes back to the creator, and if he's able to sell 1,000 sites with a little traffic coming from each it all adds up. In the end, the creators of these turnkey sites make money via this traffic and sale of the product.
So I hope this has deterred you from being tempted to get rich quick. In all likelihood, it's not going to happen. If you want a successful business, you have to do it the traditional way: planning, blood, sweat and tears. Here's to your success.

I know most have always suspected these schemes on the Internet, but it's good to put the reasons why in specific terms for greater clarity and to discourage those who may be on the fence.
